• • If you’ve ever had a cold sore (even once), see your GP for cold sore medication and follow instructions before your appointment. This helps prevent outbreaks which can impact your lip blush results.

  • Apply a hydrating lip balm (not Vaseline) every two hours in the days before treatment. Moisturised lips help pigment implant smoothly and minimise discomfort.

  • Avoid coffee, alcohol, and painkillers for 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Make sure you are well-rested and in good health when you come in.

  • Arrive with lips in their best condition—soft, hydrated and free of any dryness or cracks.

• • Avoid hot, spicy or greasy foods for 5 days after your treatment.
  • Drink through a straw for 5 days if possible, to keep your lips protected.
  • Do not pick or pull at dry or flaking skin—let it shed naturally. When flakes appear, gently apply lip balm with a cotton tip.
  • Apply a hydrating lip balm every 2 hours throughout the healing period, ideally for a month. For the first 2 weeks, use a balm with SPF 50 or higher to protect your lips.
  • Steer clear of harsh skincare products around your lips for at least 1 month to help maintain your fresh colour.
